Today’s book picks are Pick a Pine Tree by Patricia Toht, illustrated by Jarvis, and Stick Man by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Vivian (age 8) picked these books for today and she will explain why she chose them in her review.

“We got our Christmas tree this week and it took us a long time to find a tree that everybody liked. I like that they pick a tree in this book and that we did all the same things that the people in the book did to get ready for Christmas.”

“Stick man is a funny book, and I like to choose books that are funny. It rhymes and sometimes you want to yell out at stick man to tell him to make better choices to stay safe. I like that he gets home and also gets to help santa.”
